It started with a question.

“Grandma, why do you say ‘hang up the phone’, when really you snap it closed and put it in your pocket?” My painting “Hang up the phone” showing a brightly colored multiple-view image of an
old-fashioned candlestick telephone was the answer.

That question got me musing, “What else do we hang up?” That musing led to this collection.
